Molecular sieve is a material containing tiny pores of uniform size. With these tiny pores, the smaller molecules could be absorbed while the larger ones are not. Currently molecular sieve is widely used as desiccant, catalyst and adsorbent for gases and liquids, especially often utilized in the petroleum and LNG industry.
